Counseling
We provide individual, couple, family and group counseling.
Trauma, relationship issues, depression, bipolar, anxiety,
sexual abuse, parenting, domestic violence, sexual behavior
problems, self-injuring, sex/porn addiction, and anger
management are just some of the problem areas treated by
the caring professionals at Alternatives.
Evaluations
We also provide specialized evaluations conducted by a highly
trained and qualified evaluator. Specialized evaluations are
available for issues of sexual or physical victimization, trauma,
psychosexual issues, sexual offending, violence perpetration,
and substance abuse. We also provide child custody
evaluations, exploring what custody arrangement is in the
best interest of the child. Evaluations conclude with a formal
written report.
Training Opportunities
Alternatives Counseling provides opportunities for graduate
student practicums in conjunction with local universities. Our
staff have provided professional trainings throughout the
country and to community groups locally. Professional
consultation services are also available.
